Roland Fritz has a long and successful career as a jurist. He acted as a judge, then worked for a couple of years at the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe and became president of the Administrative Court in Giessen. In 2002 he also became honorary professor at the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen. In 2013 he was admitted to the German Bar to practice as a lawyer.

Roland Fritz is a graduate of the master’s course in mediation at the Europe University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. Since 2006, he has worked as a legal mediator within the administrative jurisdiction of the German federal state of Hesse. Now he is working as a freelance mediator, supervisor, trainer and instructor in the field of mediation for judges, lawyers and students. In 2013 he wrote a legal commentary on the Law on Mediation together with his colleague at adribo Dietrich Pielsticker. It was subsequently published by the German publishing house Luchterhand.
